KILLSWITCH ENGAGE Drummer: We Are 'The Fat, Sweaty, Hairy Old Dudes' On WARPED Tour

July 11, 2007

KILLSWITCH ENGAGE drummer Justin Foley has issued the following update:

"We're almost two weeks into it, and so far the Warped Tour has been pretty friggen sweet. Besides roasting in some ridiculous heat, the shows have been much better than I think any of us anticipated. Much thanks to all our fans that have come out and made our set insane every day. Speaking of insane, Adam [Dutkiewicz, guitar] is back and we couldn't possibly be happier. so come out and say hi to us for the rest of the summer. We'll be the fat, sweaty, hairy old dudes on the tour, and that's the way we like it."

KILLSWITCH ENGAGE's video for the band's new single, "The Arms of Sorrow", has been posted online at YouTube. According to the casting call sheet, "this video revolves around a man falling from a high-rise building in slow motion and people reacting to it."

"The Arms of Sorrow" comes off the group's new album, "As Daylight Dies", which has sold 259,000 copies in the United States since its November 21 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The CD is the follow-up to 2004's Grammy-nominated album "The End of Heartache", and 2005's gold-selling DVD "(Set This) World Ablaze".
